The Antarctic Toothfish fishery itself is strictly managed under the Convention for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR), an international treaty agreed to by New Zealand and 24 other nations. Together, these nations form a commission that manages Antarctic fisheries with the goal of preserving species’ diversity and stability of the entire Antarctic marine eco-system while allowing for rational harvesting of marine species.
Antarctic toothfish is high in omega-3s, which can help lower blood cholesterol and aid in maintaining a healthy circulatory system.
Packed with healthy fats, toothfish is perfect for baking, pan-frying or steaming. For a quick meal option, try pan searing it with a super simple tomato and basil sauce. Or pan-fry, drizzle with a light lemon and olive oil salmoriglio and pair with summer vegetables like courgettes.
Our skinless and boneless Antarctic toothfish are pre-portioned and frozen. Each 150g portion is individually vacuum-packed, meaning minimal fuss in the kitchen.
