The scampi fishery is managed under Marine Stewardship Council (MSC), which is run by the New Zealand government.
Scampi is high in protein and low in fats and carbohydrates. It is also an excellent source of iodine, which keeps the thyroid healthy to regulate growth and metabolism.
Cooking Tips
Although similar to European langoustines, New Zealand scampi can be distinguished by their sweeter taste and plumper tails. Just defrost and serve as sashimi with soy sauce and purewasabi for the simplest fine-dining experience in your own home.
Our scampi are individually blast frozen and come in 2kg cartons.
