Trevally

Trevally are best described as being blue-green on top and silvery white on the belly with a yellow tinge on its fins. The fish have a yellowish sheen and the upper gill plate is often covered by a small dark blotch. They can be found throughout different water levels and are most often found in schools.

The total allowable commercial catch for trevally was set at 3,933,103 kg for the year ending 30 September 2018.
